The Eastern girl's varsity team traveled to Crawford County to claim their first victory Saturday night. The Crawford team put up a strong fight, but in the end the Musketeers prevailed. It was another physical game that did not stop until the buzzer. Luckily, the girls were able to rotate bodies quickly and to keep up their fast pace play and stay fresh. The difference in the game would be the effort the Musketeers made toward securing rebounds. Junior Avery Smith had 15 rebounds for the night. The Musketeers pushed through a long weekend to gain their first win of the season. The team plans to secure two more wins this week. Way to go Lady Musketeers!
