Sophomore Katie Hauner and Junior Addie Smith were selected as Musketeer Scholar Athletes of the Month for October. Both student-athletes have excelled in the classroom and in athletic competition in their respective fall sports while representing the Lady Musketeers! Hauner comes off a successful Cross Country campaign winning the Mid Southern Conference race, the Eastern, Silver Creek, Paoli and Crawford County Invitationals and finishing up as a qualifier for the IHSAA state meet. Smith was the setter and co-captain for the Volleyball team, which finished 24-5 and won the school's first sectional title in 31 years. Both athletes were named to the Mid Southern All Conference teams in their respective sports. Hauner and Smith are both members of the Lady Musketeer basketball team and track and field teams. We congratulate both of these student-athletes for sharing their hard work and dedication to excelling in the classroom and in the competitive arena as Lady Musketeers!
