Katie Hauner traveled to the Evansville Mater Dei Regional Cross Country meet at the Angel Mounds State Park, this past Saturday, on a mission to qualify for the state finals after missing it by one spot last year! After running a PR of 19:49, she was able to accomplish that goal by qualifying for the State Meet this upcoming Saturday at noon at the LaVern Gibson State Cross Country course in Terre Haute, Indiana. Katie has had a tremendous season winning multiple invitationals and the Mid Southern Conference individual race before advancing through the sectional and regional rounds to run in the State Championship Race.
