The Lady Musketeer volleyball team picked up its second win of the week last night, defeating Scottsburg 3–1 in another hard-fought match. After a bit of a slow start, the Lady Musketeers settled in, found their rhythm, and pulled together to outwork their opponents. The team continues to focus on playing together, battling for every point, and balancing their stats with contributions coming from all over the court. Elsie Starrett led the team with 26 assists and 18 digs, helping keep the offense moving while making key defensive plays. Aubrey Mollet and Leah Hobson each added 16 digs to anchor the defensive effort. Hobson also contributed 7 kills and 3 blocks. At the net, senior Emma Brawner was a force, recording 8 kills and 5 blocks and making her presence felt throughout the match. Lilly Gonzalez continued to be solid in every aspect of the game, finishing the night with a team-high 15 kills and 11 digs. This victory was truly a team effort. The Lady Musketeers worked hard, stayed together, and found a way to finish strong and secure the 3–1 victory. The Lady Musketeers will continue to build, compete, and get better together.
