The Lady Musketeers tennis team's season ended in the Regional Finals to Providence losing 5-0. This ended another very successful campaign in which the ladies repeated as the Floyd Central Sectional Champions and made it to the first Regional Final in school history. The ladies also earned the school's first Southern Athletic Conference tennis title since returning to the conference, going undefeated in the SAC. Senior Sidney Burton was named the Most Outstanding Player for the SAC as she was joined by freshman Elsie Starrett, Junior Alyssa Earhart, Senior Layla Lessig and Sophomore Brooke Schear on the All-Conference team. Coach Ame Hein was named Southern Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. This has been a highly successful two year run for Lady M's tennis as the program has reached new heights thanks to the leadership of four seniors that will be stepping away in Burton, Eliza Starrett, Anna Dupin and Lessig. Burton was also the 2025 #1 Singles Sectional Champion while Starrett and Dupin won the #1 Doubles Sectional title in 2025. This goes with two team Sectional titles and a SAC championship. Overall, these ladies have made their mark on Lady M's tennis and we greatly appreciate all they have done for the program, school and community! There is no doubt these ladies will go on to be successful in the next chapters of their lives.
