The Lady Musketeers swept Salem 5-0 at Floyd Central yesterday to advance to the sectional championship Saturday morning. Winning for Eastern were #1 singles Sidney Burton 6-2, 6-0; #2 singles Elsie Starrett 6-1, 6-0; #3 singles Alyssah Earhart 6-4, 6-1; #1 doubles Eliza Starrett & Anna Dupin 6-1, 6-0; and #2 doubles Brooke Schear & Layla Lessig 6-3, 7-5. The Musketeers will play Floyd Central at 10 am Saturday. Come out and support the Eastern girls' tennis team in their quest to make more school history with the first-ever back-to-back sectional tennis championships.
