The Lady Musketeer tennis team got its season started last night at Corydon. The Lady Musketeers are starting 5 seniors in the lineup, and their leadership and experience were key to this team's win against Corydon. The Musketeers came out with a 5-0 win. Senior Sidney Burton came away with a 6-0, 6-0 win at #1 singles. Freshman Elsie Starrett got her first Varsity win with a 6-2, 6-1 win at #2 singles. Alyssah Earhart also came away with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at #3 singles. Seniors Eliza Starrett & Anna Dupin continued the clean sweep with a 6-3, 6-2 win at #1 doubles while the other senior duo of Kacey Campbell & Layla Lessig battled to win #2 doubles 7-5, 6-4. Also picking up JV victories were Brooke Schear at singles and the doubles team of Reagan Wineinger & Paige Saylor. Leah Schmidt & Lillie Perry lost their JV doubles match 2-6. The Lady Musketeers travel to Providence on Wednesday for a matchup between two of the top teams in the area.
